TERMS OF AGREEMENT (TOA)
Service Acknowledgment
Due to the extreme temperature of 220 degrees used by our sanitation machines, the customer acknowledges and confirms the engagement of services provided by The Bin Men, LLC.
Services Provided
The Bin Men, LLC will provide the following services:
- Technicians will take a "before" photo of each scheduled recycling bin and trash bin/can before servicing.
- Technicians will clean and sanitize the interior of recycling bins and trash bins/cans.
- After the sanitation process is fully complete, technicians will take an "after" photo of each serviced bin/can.
- All photos will be sent to the customer as confirmation that services have been completed.
Note: Once services are rendered, The Bin Men, LLC does not offer makeup appointments or redo services.
Payment and Service Conditions
- All invoices must be paid in advance before the scheduled service date.
- No pet feces should be inside the bins/cans.
- Trash bins/cans must be empty before our technicians arrive on the service date.
- Any trash bags or loose items left inside the bin/can will result in rescheduling, and a $9.99 service fee will be applied to the next invoice.
The Bin Men Booking & Payment Policy
At The Bin Men, we take pride in delivering top-tier mobile bin cleaning services with integrity, professionalism, and respect for our customers. In return, we ask our customers to acknowledge and adhere to the following policy when booking an appointment with us:
- Acknowledgment of Service & Payment CommitmentBy booking an appointment with The Bin Men, you confirm that you understand and agree to the service being provided.
Customers are required to pay for services as intended at the time of booking or upon service completion.
- No Unauthorized Chargebacks or Payment DisputesCustomers agree not to dispute or initiate chargebacks with their credit card company in an attempt to avoid payment for services rendered.
If a chargeback is initiated fraudulently, The Bin Men reserves the right to pursue collection efforts, including but not limited to legal action, to recover the amount owed.
- Mutual Respect & Business IntegrityThe Bin Men operates with honesty, transparency, and integrity, ensuring that all services are performed to the highest standards.
We respect our customers and expect the same level of respect in return, including fair and ethical business dealings.
By booking an appointment with The Bin Men, you agree to abide by this policy, ensuring a seamless and professional service experience for all.
Damage to Bins/Cans
Our cleaning process does not damage the surfaces of trash bins or recycling bins. However:
- The Bin Men, LLC is not responsible for adhesive removal during sanitation (e.g., address stickers or decals), as hot water can break down adhesive resins.
- Some small trash cans have caster wheels that may come off due to high-pressure cleaning. The Bin Men, LLC is not responsible for displaced caster wheels.
- Customers acknowledge these conditions and agree not to hold The Bin Men, LLC liable for such occurrences.
Maggots Policy
The Bin Men, LLC does not provide extermination services for infestations, eggs, or larvae. While we sanitize bins and remove debris, bacteria, and surface contaminants, we cannot guarantee the total removal of maggots, as they may hide in crevices.
Cancellation Policy
- Monthly customers may cancel up to two (2) times per 12-month rolling period.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before service via phone or email.
- If an appointment is canceled less than 48 hours before service, a $9.99 rebooking fee applies.
- To avoid a cancellation fee, provide at least 24 hours' notice.
- Cancellations on the same day of service require full payment unless rescheduling is possible. If rescheduling occurs, a $9.99 service fee will be charged in addition to the invoice.
- Customers outside of Prince George's County may be subject to an additional $9.99 fee for travel.
- Virginia or Washington, DC residents must contact via phone and cannot use the online portal due to special pricing.
Inclement Weather Policy
- In cases of extreme weather (snow, ice, freezing rain, or extreme cold), services may be canceled and rescheduled. No refunds will be issued, as services will still be rendered on a later date.
- Rain may cause scheduling inconveniences, but rescheduling will occur at no additional cost to the customer.
Subscription and Payment Agreement
- Customers authorize The Bin Men, LLC to charge the credit/debit card or bank account on file for recurring services.
- A valid payment method must be provided before the first service for monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly customers.
- Cards on file will be charged after each servicing.
- If a subscription is canceled, the customer remains responsible for the remainder of scheduled services, which will be charged to the card on file.
- Customers certify that they are authorized users of the provided payment method and will not dispute valid transactions.
Important Payment Notices
- Apple Pay is not accepted at this time, if customer mistakenly pay through apple pay, The Bin Men, LLC will not reimburse payment if disputed.
- Recurring payments will be charged based on the customer’s selected service frequency.
- Payments processed after the due date may incur late fees unless an alternative arrangement has been made.
- If a due date falls on a weekend or holiday, payments will be processed on the next business day.
- If a payment becomes delinquent, The Bin Men, LLC reserves the right to pursue legal enforcement.
Acceptance of Terms
By using The Bin Men, LLC's services, customers agree to these Terms of Agreement (TOA). The Bin Men, LLC reserves the right to update the TOA at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be available at www.thebinmendmv.com.
Intellectual Property Rights
- The Bin Men, LLC owns all copyrighted material, trademarks, and proprietary content on its website and branding materials.
- Users are prohibited from copying, modifying, or redistributing any content from www.thebinmendmv.com without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
- The Bin Men, LLC is not liable for any damages resulting from service use, including but not limited to lost profits, indirect damages, or consequential losses.
- The Bin Men, LLC makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted service or error-free operation of its website and booking system.
- Customers acknowledge that services are provided "as is" without warranties beyond those legally required.
Force Majeure
Neither party will be responsible for service failures or delays due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riots, embargos, natural disasters, or governmental restrictions.
By booking services with The Bin Men, LLC, customers acknowledge and accept these terms.
