Here at The Bin Men it's mandatory for credit cards to be kept on file for recurring packages. The services will be charged the day before or the day of the work.

​Once you have selected your subscription, please understand you have been scheduled in our system for that specific subscription for a rolling period of (12) months or 12 visits. Please understand that a $75 Early termination fee will be assessed if subscription is broken since we fill our scheduling spot per customer. At which point you have the option to reach out to our office at 240-348-4486 for further assistance. Late fees may take effect if payments are not made.

If you break your subscription you are still obligated to pay, and will be charged for the remaining visits that is left on our schedule. 

​Unfortunately you are not able to downgrade your service as we process bookings by demand. Furthermore, please understand that if you book our recurring subscriptions you have to have at least 6 months, this will be scheduled as such. Please do not book monthly with intent to have services rendered one time to avoid the one-time charge daily amount. If you cancel your second servicing because you only wanted one time, you will be assessed the remainder portion of what would have been the correct amount including amount for deodorizer and ULV treatment. Please understand The Bin Men practice fair consumer treatment, and expect the same from our customers.

Ex. If you were to book a quarterly and then tried to switch to a bi-monthly, this will warrant a termination and breach of your existing agreement.

No problem, email us at [email protected]. It is your responsibility to have your trash bins out curbside, ready for cleaning. We do provide a service reminder the day before as a courtesy. It is an automated system with no guarantees. Just notify us if you are not receiving the reminder or would like to change/add a phone or email notification. Since the reminder is a courtesy and it is your responsibility to have the trash bins available for cleaning. If we go to provide the service and your trash bins are not available, and a $10.00 charge for your missed appointment.

If this rare occurrence were to happen, our response team will promptly reach out to reschedule your cleaning service.

When services are rendered, you will receive an electronic notice of service completion. Additionally, you will receive an "after" image for your records as proof of service completion.

No, credits or refunds are not given. If you need to reschedule, please notify us immediately. Failure to provide at least 24 hours' notice before your scheduled cleaning will result in a charge for your selected subscription amount, plus a $10.00 missed appointment fee.

Instead of cleaning your trash bins, the driver will document the missed service by taking photos and noting the reason for non-cleaning.

It is your responsibility to have your trash bins available for servicing. Please do not rely on the driver to knock on your door. Due to liability concerns and safety precautions, our staff is prohibited from entering residences to retrieve trash bins or knocking on doors.

For this reason, we ask customers to place their trash bins/cans by the curb. We do not enter enclosed areas or backyards to retrieve them.

The Bin Men's bin cleaning service comes to your neighborhood either once a month or bi-weekly, based on your scheduled appointment. There's no need for you to be at home—just leave the empty trash bins, toters, or cans you scheduled for service at the curb. The Bin Men will clean, deodorize, and sanitize them right at your curb.

Please note: First-time customers' bins are thoroughly sanitized; however, the results depend on the severity and condition of the bins. We will clean to the best of our ability, which is why we recommend monthly servicing for trash bins.

Maggots are removed during the sanitation process. However, The Bin Men cannot guarantee that maggots will not return after service. If eggs have already hatched, maggots may reappear. This is why we strongly recommend monthly service.

We offer an annual payment option for the entire year. Additionally, we provide Quarterly, Monthly, and Bi-Monthly payment options. Alternatively, there's also a one-time daily option available, which is a great convenience for those who prefer to make a single payment.

Our bin sanitation services comes to you the day after your trash has been picked up as follows: once each month, bi-monthly or quarterly by scheduled appointed day.

No. You can order one or as many as you’d like. All pricing is per trash bin. This also applies after a one-time trash bin cleaning if you choose to continue the service on a monthly basis.

Yes, however, we highly recommend utilizing our monthly package, as the cost for a one-time cleaning is slightly higher. This is because trash bins that are not cleaned regularly will take much longer to clean.

Please note: Our technicians will do their best to get your trash bins as clean as possible. However, there is no guarantee that all grime and buildup will be removed with a one-time cleaning. Depending on the amount and type of buildup, as well as how long it’s been since the bins were last cleaned, your trash bins may require more than a single cleaning. For this reason, we offer a monthly payment option exclusively to our one-time customers. After your one-time cleaning, you can choose to continue the service each month with the monthly payment option.

Sorry but absolutely no switching bins. Each container has its own identification and only trash bins that have a scheduled service will be cleaned. This helps the technician ensure the correct bins were cleaned.

We service limited areas of Virginia, Montgomery County & Anne Arundel County. You can find the Pricing for these areas in BOOKING.

Trash bins need to be emptied, but we understand that circumstances may vary that's out of your control. Our technician will remove 1 to 2 medium-sized bags of trash, clean your bins, and then place the bags back inside once the cleaning is complete. 

However, we reserve the right to decline service if the following conditions are present:

  • Unbagged damp trash, including excessive loose trash, yard clippings, oil, soiled diapers, or animal waste without bag.
  • Hazardous waste, including chemicals, paint, glue, or other adhesives, vehicle oil.
  • Building materials, including plaster, stucco, concrete, or insulation.
  • Pet feces

A $10.00 service fee will be applied for such additional services rendered if such occurrences happen.

If there are more than two bags of trash, excessive loose trash, hazardous waste, or building materials, please notify us within 24 hours. In this case, we will skip the cleaning that day and reschedule your service for another day. As part of our quality program, staff take before-and-after pictures to show the completion of the service.

*There are no refunds if the trash bin/can is not cleaned due to the presence of the above items. Please contact our office for any inquiries.

If you are anticipating that you might be moving out of our service area, please give us a call to discuss options.

You can leave your trash bins by the garage, on the side of the house, or anywhere that allows us reasonable access without needing to walk inside an enclosure. We will return them to the same spot once we’ve finished our work. We will only go behind a gate if you give us explicit authorization to do so.

Additionally, you can provide us with the contact information for the HOA Board and/or Manager, and we will reach out to discuss the situation. We may be able to work together to find a solution that allows for a possible exception on The Bin Men’s service day. Many HOAs can partner with us once they understand the health and aesthetic benefits to the community. We have even negotiated with HOAs to serve their entire community at discounted rates.

The customer pays the invoice via the payment link provided.
a. If this is for Monthly, Quarterly, or Bi-Monthly service, the customer will be contacted by phone and email for payment and charged from saved card on file.

  1. An appointment is then scheduled for the date the customer specifies. (times will vary according to schedule)
  2. The customer ensures that the cans are completely empty the day before servicing.
  3. Upon arrival, the bins must be visible to the technicians. If the customer has animals, they cannot be left unsupervised. Our recommendation is to house your pet. For safety reasons, our technicians may refuse to service the bins and charge the customer a rescheduling fee of $10.00.

Simply call or email us at least 24 hours before your cleaning day if you need to skip your cleaning, and we'll see you the following month. Unfortunately, if you do not notify us and we arrive to provide the service, you will still be billed the full invoice amount, along with a $9.99 missed appointment fee, if the technician arrives at the residence with no bins to clean.

The Bin Men accepts all major credit cards with the extended option of Cash App. We do not accept Apple Pay at this time.

Surface washing involves cleaning the upper layer of surfaces. However, this does not guarantee the removal of all stains, especially if they are deeply embedded. For example, oil stains that have completely dried on concrete may discolor the surface and may not be fully removed through soft surface washing. Similarly, rust stains are particularly challenging to eliminate without specialized equipment.

Methods such as sandblasting addresses tough stains like rust or oil on concrete. Our soft surface washing service is designed for general cleaning and maintenance. Although our machinery will remove imperfections and contaminants, it is urgely emphasized we do not use specialized equipment like sandblasters for deep stain removal or concrete restoration.

Please have realistic expectations and a clear understanding of what soft surface washing entails when booking your appointment. We are here to help maintain cleanliness, but some stains may require more intensive treatments that we do not offer.

We do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains from your surface. The extent of stain removal depends on factors such as the type of stain, the amount of time it has been present, and the severity of the damage. Studies have shown that certain stains, such as oil and rust, can be particularly harmful to concrete and may not be fully eliminated through soft surface cleaning alone. These types of stains are often deeply embedded in the material and can cause lasting discoloration.

While we cannot promise complete removal of these stains, our soft surface washing process effectively cleans and eliminates topical hazards, improving the overall cleanliness and safety of the surface. Soft surface washing targets the top layer of the material, removing dirt, grime, and other contaminants without compromising the integrity of the surface underneath.
